OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Sales for our Western Division works closely with the VP of Sales & Business Development, Managing Directors, and Regional Directors to manage Regional Sales Leaders in order to achieve company-wide sales goals, including the corporate minimum requirement of 4 gross move-ins per month, per Community.
Qualifications
- 6 years of previous sales experience, including 4 years of managing multi-unit portfolios.
- Solid track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to travel as needed to train, support new and existing sales teams (minimum 50% travel).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Must be able to work with employees at various skill levels.
- Demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver the “Holiday Touch”.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze occupancy metrics in order to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals at the corporate, district, regional and individual Community levels.
- Work cooperatively in developing sales forecasts and strategic plans.
- Assist in management of national sales budget, including resident incentive pool and sales team bonus system.
- Assist in evaluation and recruitment of Regional Sales Leaders.
- Ensure Regional Sales Leaders maintain accountability for set responsibilities.
- Develop “sales scripts” for use in field.
- Development of sales training material.
- Responsible for the execution of SAMM.
- Assist and participate in development of regional sales conference curriculum.
- Actively participate in all sales training development and coaching.
