There may be a time when you need assistance with daily activities. Home Care allows seniors to receive in-home assistance based on frequency and level of needs, and may include daily activities such as bathing, dressing, housekeeping, meals, and medication. We are excited to let you know about services that are available right in your home, provided by outside health care providers.
We're happy to recommend any of several home health care providers that already work within our communities or you can always continue with your existing provider if you prefer. Through this readily available on-site assistance, you can continue living an independent senior lifestyle with the peace-of-mind of knowing there is always someone near to lend a helping hand.
What level of care is provided by home health care?
Level of care is determined by need and can include assistance with daily activities or medical needs. Live-in aids are also available.
What are the costs?
Home Care aides are typically paid hourly. Contact your preferred outside home health care provider for details.
What are the payment options?
Some Home Care agencies are Medicare and Medicaid certified, and some long-term care insurance policies cover Home Care. Other payment options include HMOs, community organizations and private funds. Home health care provider costs are not covered by your rent at Holiday Retirement.
