Chief Executive Officer
Lilly Donohue joined as chief executive officer in January 2016. Prior to joining Holiday, Lilly spent four and a half years establishing a senior living business in Shanghai, China for Fortress Investment Group. Before moving to China in August 2011, Lilly worked at Fortress Investment Group for eighteen years, most recently as managing director and member of the management committee. Prior to Fortress, Lilly was employed by UBS where she focused on structured finance and the commercial loan business. She started her career at BlackRock Financial Management Inc. in 1992 where she was involved in all facets of raising capital, investing and managing BlackRock Asset Investors, a private equity fund.
Lilly received a bachelor of science in business administration from Boston University. Lilly serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of The Questrom School (formerly known as Boston University School of Management).
Chief Operating Officer
Scott Shanaberger is chief operating officer, and oversees the ongoing business operations across the company.
Scott joined Holiday Retirement in 2010 as chief financial officer. Previously, he served as the chief financial officer of Laramar Communities, LLC, a privately held multifamily and mixed-use property owner/operator. Prior to joining Laramar Communities, Scott spent 12 years with United Dominion Realty (UDR) Trust in a variety of senior level financial roles, including senior vice president and chief accounting officer. UDR owns 60,000 multifamily apartment homes across the U.S. and is a publicly traded REIT on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: UDR). Prior to joining UDR, Scott was an auditor with Ernst & Young.
Scott earned his bachelor of business administration degree from the College of William and Mary.
Chief Legal Officer
Chris Bouchard is our chief legal officer and is responsible for driving our legal strategy and managing the day-to-day operations of the legal team.
Chris has extensive experience in providing counsel to organizations on corporate and transactional matters, such as corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and general corporate governance. Prior to joining Holiday, Chris was an associate with the Los Angeles office of the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 2003 to 2013.
Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar with a bachelor of arts in religious studies and a minor in physics. He received his juris doctor degree from Columbia Law School at Columbia University.
Chief Information Officer
Sheila Donahoe is the chief information officer. She is responsible for Holiday Retirement’s overall technology strategy and the implementation of technology to enable business strategies and accelerate the achievement of business goals.
Sheila joined Holiday Retirement in February 2010, following a six-year stint as the senior vice president and chief information officer at Bluegreen Corporation in Boca Raton, Fla. She was responsible for delivery of all technology services for Bluegreen, a dynamic $700 million hospitality/vacation ownership and land development company. Sheila also served as the senior vice president and chief information officer for four years at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and she’s held positions at AutoNation, Blockbuster, Inc., and Andersen Consulting.
Sheila was named one of the 100 Most Innovative CIOs by CIO magazine in 2001 and was voted south Florida’s Best CIO by the South Florida Business Journal in 2005 and 2006. She has been a member of Women in Technology International (WITI) and served on the Leadership Advisory Council for WITI’s south Florida chapter.
Sheila graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Sciences and a Minor in Mathematics from Florida State University.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Oscar Cardona is chief human resources officer for Holiday Retirement. In this role, Oscar provides senior level HR counsel to the company as well as leads companywide HR operations including employee relations, benefits, recruitment and training and development.
Oscar started his career in human resources at Cigna in the 1980s, leaving the company as a vice president for human resources in 1998. He then joined NIKE, serving in a variety of executive roles at its headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., and at the company’s EMEA offices in Amsterdam. Oscar returned to the U.S. to become a senior HR executive for NIKE in 2008.
Oscar has a juris doctor degree from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, Calif., and a B.A. in political science from Beloit College in Beloit, Wis.
Chief Financial Officer
Tyler Nelson is chief financial officer and is responsible for the company’s fiscal and fiduciary activities and leads the financial organization.
Prior to being named to this position, Tyler held several financial positions of increasing responsibility at Holiday Retirement including vice president of finance, vice president and controller, and most recently, as senior vice president of asset management and finance.
Prior to joining Holiday, he was an auditor with KPMG and focused on the high tech, multifamily, higher education and banking sectors.
Tyler is a licensed CPA, and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Mark Prince is senior vice president of operations and is responsible for the operations of Holiday Retirement’s 300-plus communities.
Most recently, Mark led Holiday Retirement’s central district as vice president of operations. He joined the company in 2010 as the managing director of the Midwest district.
Before joining Holiday, Mark worked at White Lodging, a hotel development and management company, for 20 years. He participated on several committees with Marriott International during that time. He then served as president and principal of Pluris Management Group, an organization that developed, owned and managed multifamily apartments, office space and retail.
Mark is an active member of Remember the Children, an organization focused to helping orphan children in Romania. He is a former board member of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and Indianapolis Downtown Inc.
Mark is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving a total of nine years of active and reserve duty.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Rick Wigginton is senior vice president of sales and is responsible for leading Holiday’s national sales organization. He provides guidance to the district and regional sales teams with a focus on creating innovative programs and offering new services.
Before joining Holiday, Rick served as senior vice president of sales, marketing and creative at Atria Senior Living, Inc., where he led the sales and marketing teams. He started his employment with Atria in 2005, and was promoted to numerous management and leadership positions during his twelve years with Atria. Prior to Atria, Rick worked at Integrated Medical Systems and at Key Communications Services, a healthcare solutions company.
Wigginton has a master’s degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a bachelor’s degree in music from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Jamison Gosselin is senior vice president of marketing and communications at Holiday Retirement. In this role, he is responsible for generating consumer interest in Holiday, championing the company brand promise and value proposition, and working with executive leadership to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders. He joined Holiday in 2013 as vice president of marketing.
Jamison started his career in public relations at MCI, a leading global telecommunications company, which has since become Verizon. He then joined Sunrise Senior Living, the largest seniors housing company at the time, where he served in a variety of communications and marketing leadership roles. Later, he served at Argentum, the senior living trade association, as senior vice president of marketing and communications. At Argentum he was responsible for revenue growth, product development, and marketing communications.
Jamison earned a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University in Washington, D.C.
