Whispering Chase hosts fundraiser benefiting Cheyenne charities
The holiday season brings together family and friends near and far to rejoice and spend time with one another. It is also a time that reminds us there are many less fortunate than ourselves, providing the perfect opportunity to give back and support local charities.
To give back to the Cheyenne, Wyoming, community, Whispering Chase invited Cheyenne residents to “rope a burger for local charities” and join the independent senior living community for lunch. Earlier in December, baskets of sliders and fries were sold for $10 each, with all proceeds going to the three lucky charities identified as beneficiaries of this year’s fundraiser: COMEA House, Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne, and Laramie County Senior Services.
Whispering Chase residents were thrilled to have the opportunity to get involved with the Cheyenne community and give back to their neighbors. At the end of the day, the Rope ‘em Rodeo fundraiser was a great success for the three charities. Maggie and Craig Cox, community managers for Whispering Chase, are anxious to make this fundraiser an annual event for Whispering Chase.
