Holiday Retirement is a good place to grow old
Getting old does not have to be bad. It happens to everyone that lives long enough. Senior living here at Madrona Hills in Salem, Oregon, gives us the the opportunity to fulfill all our getting older needs, emotionally, physical, and mentally. Classes are given to renew your brain activities. Throughout every day there are activities offered to improve yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Right now where I live at Madrona Hills there are several published authors and more being published each year. We give encouragement and help to any that want to write their life story for their children and grandchildren. All have found that more than their family is interested in their fascinating life. I have four Best Sellers out, with the fifth one at the publisher's now. My table mates give good advice.
Mealtime is my favorite time to socialize. We laugh, bring funny things off of the internet to share, and eagerly tell good and bad things about our grand and great grandchildren. We love our own children but also get to share in the love of our friend's children. What could be better?
Because we have bus service, we can go together out to dinner and a play. Many are no longer able to drive but not to worry, the bus service takes care of us with many outings. Fun and fellowship galore.
Our physical needs are met by the exercise classes that are offered each day. You don't mess with the residence of a Holiday Retirement Community. When a mate is lost, over 100 friends sustain you and help you in your grief. Hugs are given freely, by both staff and your resident friends. Yes, Holiday Retirement senior living communities are a good place to grow old.
