Our second story windows provide gorgeous views of the Garden Valley Mountains and surrounding countryside. With only 19 people per square mile, Roseburg offers quiet and friendly small town living, with the convenience of malls, theaters, parks, doctors, churches and the Veterans’ hospital all nearby.
In addition to the beauty and quiet, there’s plenty to do! Our residents enjoy country rides, ice cream outings, college concerts, trips to the coast, Crater Lake and brunch trips to nearby casinos. For the history buff, beautiful covered bridges, mid-1800s restored homes and the nationally acclaimed Douglas County Museum of History offer many wonderful sightseeing opportunities.
For the outdoorsman or woman, the area offers wonderful fishing and camping, as well as the world famous “Wildlife Safari,” where you can drive your own vehicle over the 4.5 mile trail through habitat full of free-roaming wildlife from Africa, Asia and the Americas.
Back at Garden Valley, our live-in management team is available to assist you with most any event or emergency, 24/7. Our in-house chef prepares three sumptuous meals from scratch per day, served restaurant-style in our beautiful dining room. And our entire staff provides activities, transportation, and lots of smiles, along with basic housekeeping and maintenance chores to free your time for better things…like relaxing and getting the most out of your hard-earned retirement!
