Vineyard Place residents tie the knot in heartwarming love story for the ages
Bob Bradley, 77, and Judith Ringleman, 70, tied the knot during a beautiful wedding Saturday, Nov. 26. But this was no ordinary ceremony—Bob and Judith were wed at their home and the place they first met, Holiday Retirement at Vineyard Place.
Bob and Judy met at a Bible study at their Milwaukie, Oregon-based retirement community. Judy was immediately smitten with Bob, and shared her secret crush with her friend Lanelle Veile, the enrichment coordinator at Vineyard Place. The next thing Judy knew, Bob was knocking on her door with a DVD in hand to ask if she wanted to watch a movie with him. And the rest is history.

Although Lanelle does not take full credit for getting these two lovebirds together, it is widely known that she played a matchmaker role in their romance.
“She was so giddy when they started dating, it was so cute,” commented Lanelle on the day of Bob and Judy’s wedding in a KATU-TV interview.
Bob and Judy are living proof of an inspiring motto at Holiday Retirement, “You’re never too old to fall in love.” Family, friends and fellow residents surrounded the happy couple as they exchanged vows and their first kiss as husband and wife.
On the day of their wedding, the happy couple laughed about their unlikely love story.
“I fell in love with her. I thought she was pretty, fun, smart and had a big TV,” Bob joked. “He's really, really good to me,” Judy added with a smile.
